Point Reyes National Seashore

Point Reyes is a beautiful area of Marin consisting mostly of farmland, protected coastline, tiny towns, lots of hiking trails and cows, country homes and you can also find some nice places to eat. It’s very rural and you can spend lots of time there. Over the years we lived in Marin I have been there several times, but I haven’t seen it all and I would still like to go back and revisit. Here are photos from some of my favorit places to go: The lighthouse at the end of the seashore. You can see whales here during winter and Sealions all the year. Turn off the road for the cypress tunnel and take some beautiful photos there from the KPH radio station. Pierce Point Ranch is an old farm where you can start your hike to Tomales Point or go the beach or just wander around for the landscape and wildlife. You probably passes lots of Tule Elks and cows on the way there too. Buy sandwiches on the way at Inverness where you can also stop to see the shipwrecks and end your day in Point Reyes Station with lots of good food options. I love the small bakery and Cow Girls Cremery, but take your time to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. I would go tomorrow…
